Events and Activities
In addition to our monthly meetings, we also organise a wide range of activities throughout the year for our members to enjoy and these are listed below. Payment should normally be made when you put your name down but if you need to budget please let the ladies on the Events Desk or Donna know. If you need to cancel for any reason please email -

Thursday 5th December - Harrogate Country Living Fair.
Join Cherry on a coach tour to Harrogate. You can either spend the day in the town (Coach only cost £16,or pay advance entrance to the Country and Living Show which is a short way from the centre (cost £30.) Payment should have already been made for this event. The coach will leave from Woodford Community Hall. A great chance to purchase Christmas presents.

Go along to Egerton Football Club, Knutsford WA16 6SL from 9 a.m. to help fill the toy sacks for this year's appeal. Drinks available but please take a packed lunch. Afternoon sessions are quieter.

Friday 17th January 2020 - Walk and lunch.
Join Helen Battilana on a 5.5 mile walk to Heawood Hall, Nether Alderley, leaving from The Drum and Monkey, SK9 7LD at 10 a.m. The route starts with a moderately steep ascent but is fairly level after that. Lunch at the pub is an option at the end of the walk. Family and friends welcome.

This is a joint ride with Wilmslow U3A. Meet at Lindow Common Car Park at 9.30 a.m. for a ride of between 10 and 15 miles stopping at a local cafe for refreshments. Let Jane Rawlings know if you are interested.

Friday 28th February 2020 - Tree Planting
Join Amanda and the Friends of Spud Wood (Near Oughtringhton) for a session of tree planting. You will need to wear suitable clothing (Waterproofs and wellingtons) and take a spade or fork if possible. We will have lunch either before or after the session. Let us know if you are interested in planting.

To be held between 6 and 9 p.m. at Cliff Lane, Lymm. We will receive free advice on home fire safety, accidents in the home as well as covering cyber security, scam and personal safety. their stunning £4.5m indoor village has four themed zones providing a truly immersive learning environment www.safetycentral.org.uk Please register your interest by 24th February.

Held to celebrate the centenary of Cheshire Federation at the Phoenix Sports Club in Styal. This will be a free event for members only but we hope to raise some money for you chosen charity by means of a Raffle and a collection.
