Monday 19th January - Monthly Meeting
This was the first monthly meeting of the year and Sir Tony Redmond (UK-Med) was the speaker. He spoke about his work with UK-Med which he founded and which is a registered specialist in emergency medicine, helping people in the most challenging circumstances. It was a powerful, inspiring account of hope, bravery and compassion, delivered with warmth, honesty and humility and the room was captivated.
Ten visitors were welcomed and, as usual, members were offered wonderful refreshments and welcome drinks. It was a brilliant start to the new year.
